When I was younger and creating Edible I never thought I’d be writing about a donut product! But here we are on National Donut Day, celebrating the launch of Edible’s brand new donuts. You might be wondering, how can fruit be a donut? These donut-shaped treats are made with crisp Granny Smith apples and covered in 100 percent real gourmet chocolate. They also come with a variety of topping choices, including a colorful chocolate glaze, sprinkles, caramelized hazelnut crunch, and coconut shavings.
After years of planning and hard work by the amazing Edible team, our franchisees and our agency partner Havas, I am very excited to announce that we have officially kicked off our transformation with a new “Edible is ❤ible” campaign. It launches just in time for one of our biggest holidays and the most important day for us all, Mother’s Day.
This week, as the country celebrates National Small Business Week, I’d like to look back and reflect on the beginnings of Edible®, when we were just a small store in Connecticut. Looking back on these memories makes me eternally grateful for all of Edible®’s franchisees that have gone on this journey with me. In my opinion, there are few things more inspiring than the stories of those who have overcome obstacles or objections to achieve success in whatever walk of life they are pursuing. That’s why I was so excited that Edible® employees recently had the opportunity to participate in an event at our headquarters sponsored by the Connecticut Women’s Hall of Fame that highlighted many such stories involving amazing women from our state.
