In 2011, Edible Arrangements was ranked 9th on Forbes.com ‘Top Franchises for the Money” listing. In February of 2009, Tariq was named “Entrepreneur of the Year” by the International Franchise Association, whose members include more than 1,300 franchise systems, 11,000 franchisees and 500 suppliers. In June 2009 Tariq was awarded the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2009 Award in the Retail and Consumer Products category in Metro New York.
It has always been my philosophy that companies don’t just serve their customers, they have an obligation to serve their entire communities, as well. That’s why philanthropy plays an important role in all my companies, especially Edible Arrangements®.

As we approach the holidays and the start of a New Year, I wanted to reflect on what an ncredible year of change and growth it has been for not only myself but for Edible Arrangements®. We began the process of moving our headquarters to Atlanta, introduced several new products including our Edible® donuts, and brought in a new CEO, only the second in company history.
